What is Spuh?

An onomatopoeia originally used to express excitement over a "spare" or "split" in the ancient and highly respected sport of ten pin bowling.
The uses of this word have widened in recent years to show happiness, and is also used as a war-cry of those who have won some form of competition, event or sporting contest. It is also used randomly, mid-conversation to make said persons laugh.
Person 1: I went over to the shops yesterday
Person 2: Spuh
