srsgamer is short for "Serious gamer" which means anyone who takes there videogaming to competitive scenes.

There are many srsgamers floating around the internet, but the term originated from a Battle Field 2 player, landaxe, probably one of the most srsgamers that ever hit the gaming scene, who also ended up making a competitive BF2 team consisting entirely of Australia's most srsgamers and called it "sqL^".
