To step or stand upright in an aggressive but somewhat understated manner in an effort to intimidate or weird out a selected stranger, usually in public.
Man in bar: You see that guy over here? he's totally standin' at me.
Man's friend: He wanna start somethin'?
Man: Fuck you! (pushes man who was standing at him).
I was in the subway yesterday and some creepy homeless man stood at me for like 20 minutes! I didn't know what he wanted
It looked like he was coming up to the bar to get a drink, but I knew he was just coming to stand at me.
