J. J. Abrams directed, 2009, eleventh movie in the Star Trek franchise, and an ultimately EPIC film.
Stars; Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock and Eric Bana as Captain Nero (the bad guy)
Also; Karl Urban as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Leonard Nimoy as Spock Prime, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu, Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov and Simon Pegg as Montgomery "Scotty" Scott.
Abrams put a time-travel storyline in so he could mix shit up abit and not have to be tied down to the already established canon details.
"Have you seen Star Trek xi yet?"
"Naah, I'm not a Trekkie, man!"
