Steel Erector

What is Steel Erector?

1.

Depending on what kind of structure is being built, Steel Erectors, or Riggers, may find themselves working several hundred feet above or several hundred feet below the ground. Most commonly work at height to put the actual nuts and bolts in that connect the beams together which form the steel skeletons of many buildings. Used to be insanely dangerous and lots of fun but as in everything these days, Health and Safety got involved and it's never been the same since!

"See that Mark Tarr, he was a Steel Erector for years but he got osteoporosis"

See rigger, beer, sex, travel, nutters
