What is Stendhal Moment?

a moment of sheer awe, of brilliance. often induced by being overwhelmed upon setting sights on a piece of art.
when i entered the gallery yappin' away with my friends, i stopped dead in my tracks. the show was incredible, and the first piece to greet me upon entry was the most exquisite sight i'd ever seen. my chest tightened and solar plexus sucked in, my heart ached. it was definitely a stendhal moment.
