When someone wants to roll a joint but doesn't possess any of the necessary ingredients (rolling papers, tobacco, cannabis) themselves and attempts to procure them from others, esp. each from a different person, with the promise of a share of the resulting joint.
A common occurrence at music festivals.
Mary said her stone joint would be even nicer if I put some of my hash in it.
