String Dope Edit Meaning

A flash dopeform of methamphetamine (see Meth) that requires little skill to cook. String Dope is generally cooked using activated charcoal, gun bluing, and sudsless ammonia in an airtight cooler, where the methamphetamines will grow on unwaxed strings like stalactites over a period of 14-31 days. The nickname for this particular form resulted from junkies often finding pieces of the string when breaking their dopedown in the spoon, bottle cap, or whatever.

String Dope generally has a half-life of 5-7 days after being exposed to UV light.
