someone who is both an editor of the Urban Dictionary online, and an Urban Dicker (frequent submitter), so that they find themselves in the position where they are sometimes able to approve words that other 'Dickers' find heaps lame.

Hence: 'sub editor'; one who is beneath an editor. One whose ethics as an editor (if not skills) are below par.
