What is Submissive?

A person in BDSM who submits to a Dominant person. A submissive can be a slave and/or the bottom (the person being tied up or whipped, etc.).
Janet was a submissive in bed, but she knew how to stand up for herself when her boss tried to push her around.

One who gives over their rights, their desires, and themselves to another. As a gift.
Of the two, Jane was the most submissive.

A male/female who is sexually submissive to their Master/Dom by choice. The "GIFT" if submission is earned by respect it's not just given.
Safe, sane and consensual submissive.
Characterizes the acceptable play within the SM community: players adhere to safety precautions within their activities, do not participate in practices that will injure their partners (mentally or physically), and obtain consent by negotiating scenes and scene related activities before carrying them out.

A person who submits to a dominant person or Sector. I don't think that is the same than slutty because that person doesn't do it necessarily for that reason. If a guy says "I fucked two girls last night" you won't describe him as a submissive person. A woman who can break double standars and make her own decisions, a woman who can fight to her goals and also a woman who wants to satisfy her desires is not submissive, but to the men sector she shouldn't do those things because "she doesn't deserve the same sexual freedom" so the woman who represses her own desires just to obey expired norms is the Submissive one
