What is Subway Surf?

To stand/balance on moving subway, much like one would on a surfboard, so as to not come into contact with any germ covered surface. The term "subway" may be used interchangably with any form of mass transit ie, bus, train, T, metro, tube.
Rather than sit next to the homeless man, Joe opted to subway surf.
