What is Subway Twitch?

A condition common in sandwich artists whereby any bleeping noise can make them jerk their heads in a flash, concerned that the toaster may have just done a Sub to perfection or that the retarder needs emptying.
*bleeping noise*
Sandwich artist: woah! what was that! *turns head!
" I must rescue the subs"
*sees that no subs are in danger as not currently at work
Friend: "It must be that darn Subway Twitch!"
