What is Summer Shorts?

A pair of shorts worn predominantly in summer that expose more of the body than those around the wearer feel comfortable with. Usually finish above the knee and are of a slimmer fit than regular shorts, but can also be baggy and sit mid-way or further down the posterior.
Jaden almost threw up when he saw Jimmy's glorious new pair of summer shorts.
