What is Sumo Spread?

The act of lifting one buttcheek off of the toilet seat, spreading it, and setting it down, to aid in the passage of a large piece of feces. More often than not, both buttcheeks need to be done.
Guy A: Dude, that crap was at least three Courics.
Guy B: You're such a liar.
Guy A: Seriously, dude, I had to give it the sumo spread.
