What is Swallow A Bug?

Coded language to be said as a command (in the form of an out of nowhere statement) to someone who is interrupting your (possibly) intimate moment to get them to leave, asked as a question to assure you're not interrupting such a moment, or a statement said by one who recognizes he/she may be interrupting such a moment and is leaving.
from a very under-appreciated moment in Good Will Hunting when Casey Affleck wants to leave the scene as Minnie Driver approaches Matt Damon at the Harvard bar before leaving; he pretends to choke on one of the bar nuts and quietly says "I swallowed a bug" and gets up from the bar
Guys walks into bedroom at house party, other guy and girl are sitting on bed flirting. Guy on bed clears his throat and says "I swallowed a bug" and other guy knows to leave.
Same situation, guy walks in, sees couple, clears his throat "I swallowed a bug" and turns right back around.
Friend asks friend at bar "Swallow a bug?" to see if his friend is getting anywhere with the girl he's talking to.
