Coded language to be said as a command (in the form of an out of nowhere statement) to someone who is interrupting your (possibly) intimate moment to get them to leave, asked as a question to assure you're not interrupting such a moment, or a statement said by one who recognizes he/she may be interrupting such a moment and is leaving.
