Swatted is a verb for smacking or smacked a ball. When you are attending a basketball game, a male or female goes for a lay-up, 2 pointer, or 3 pointer and out of no where comes a defender who swats the ball straight out your face.
Layton dribbles around number 23 jumps up for a lay-up, when suddenly marquis darts out of no where swatting the ball straight out of his face.
