What is Swogle?

A term used to scab a mouthful of drink from somebody else, the amount being half way between a sallow and a gulp.

PUNTER A: "What's that, you've got there?"

PUNTER B: "Just a bottle of Buckie."

PUNTER A: "Go on, give us a swogle."
