What is Sylvia Plath?

she was a poet, (wrote a novel as well & did short storys) but she advanced the genre of confessional poetry. & is well known for her poetry.
her first sucicide attempt she crawled under her house and took an overdose of sleeping pills. she was sent to a mental institution.
she later killed herself by sticking her head in th oven with the gas turned on. alot of people think that she didnt really intend to kill herself.
Sylvia Plath wrote storys novels & poems that parelled her mental breakdowns and suicide attempts, and she died with her head in an oven.
