A city in north-west Iran. The biggest city in Iranian Azerbaijan. Population about 2,000,000.

People speak Azeria language which is very similar to Turkish.Tabriz is famous for its excellent carpets, chocolates and food. The first cinema, newspaper, electric power plant, public library, and many other things were established in Tabriz.Its its history backs to 1500 BC Russians tried to occupy it for many times but never truly succeeded.
