Take Em' Up

What is Take Em' Up?

1.

In a fight, this is a phrase used by onlookers, and instigaters. It urges one fighter to physically wrap their arms around the mid section of the other fighter, lift him/her off the ground, turn the victim's body, in mid air, either horizontally, or upside down, and then slam them back onto the ground. In most cases, injury to the upper body results from the impact. This wrestling move is frequently used in highschool boys team lockerooms in order for senior players to teach freshman teammates who is boss.

We told tyree to take em' up, but we didn't want the boy to end up in the hospital. Damn...

See downtown, uptown
