What is Tayuyo?

1.

Cuban version of the Mexican tamal cooked in the corn husk leaves. It usually contains pork chucks inside and it is served with "mojo" and/or "manteca de puerco".

"Mame tengo hambre, preparame siete tayuyos"

(Mom I am hungry, meake me seven tayuyos)
