A power source that is derived from the sadness of others; specifically, when another cries you feel revived, awake, and generally just more alive, you are gaining energy from another's tears.
Tim was feeling lethargic, but soon after making his girlfriend cry he gained some teargeny, and was able to complete all of his household chores.
