What is Telefungus?

The "creeping crud" one tries to avoid while speaking on a public telephone. Usually found on the mouthpiece but may also be found on the handle of the phone or the buttons on the phone panel or left on bottles and snotrags near rhe phone panel.

Yuk! What is this glop on the phone? Ohmygaaaaad, it's a telefungus!
