What is Ten Eggs?

a phrase used to describe someone, stepping over the line of neccessary comments, as in
it originates from a discussion where ten eggs were offered in exchange for a baby.
as in
'i'll give you ten eggs for that baby'
instead of saying.....there was no need for that comment.
all that is required is 'ten eggs' to alert the person of their blunder
