teraphysics, or terraphysics is the term for regular down to earth physics (what goes up must come down), used especially when you're talking to a group that's currently discussing metaphysics, magic, and whatnot.

"So this guy materialized a fireball. That's all he can do, really. Ask him to materialize a waterball, and he'll pass out. Why? Because this skinny dude doesen't have enaugh mass to trade off, because ya know, teraphysics says you have to trade mass for mass, and can't make stuff up. In this case, it directly burns your flubber."
