The act of doing or saying something that only the one called Tevis would do or say.

To do or say something that is extremely pretentious or lacking insight concerning concepts such as social tact or propriety.

To "one up" another person's statement with a dismissive response that negates the validity and importance of the original statement.

To raise the volume of one's voice at inapropriate times during a statement and/or conversation.

Non-Sequitorial Examples of Tevitry:

3. Person A-"This beer is pretty dank"

(Person commiting the act of tevitry then responds immediatly after the original statement, without waiting for a polite pause in dialogue, and does not bother to acknowlege the other person's statement with so much as an "ok" or "thats cool, but". He then proceeds to "one-up" the original statement)

Tevis-"I had much better beer the other night"

4. To yell with excitement "BARBEQUE SAUCE!" like a fatty.
