Textwall

What is Textwall?

1.

Textwalling is where a person responds to a given situation or comment with either a very drawn out explanation, a highly technical one, one that examines the various implications of a given moment, the problems associated with those implications, the immediate effects of those implications and other related issues that might occur in the implementation of the response to the original situation.

The previous definition was a highly inaccurate version of a textwall, as it did not explain the issues of people on internet communities monologuing about issues that occur as they see them. This is a large problem on the internet as other users are obligated to read large, drawn out monologs that are not particularly effective at their deliverance.
