What is Thaiky?

Adjective; Brought about by the total lack of decorating and design taste common to homes designed and/or decorated by Thai people. Common traits include uncomfortable, cheap and gaudy furniture, refrigerators located in the living areas instead of the kitchen, and entire walls devoted to opulent and overly-conspicuous Buddhist shrines.
During any outing searching for sale or rental properties in Thailand, you are sure to run across plenty of thaiky homes which will require a very large dumpster should you choose to move in.

A combination of the words "Thai" and "tacky," meaning when decorations in a Thai restaurant or other Thai setting are absolutely hideous.
