Used on a website, by an admin to ban spammers or such people that don't belong in that site. Also in online games, when you're a complete noob and others can't play because you're on the way.

Noob: "Im spamin' rite here lolzzzz"

Other user: "this guy needs the banner hammer"

Admin bans the noob.

More commonly referred to as the "Ban Hammer" or "BANHAMMER"

Something people on an online forum or game in which people referred to as

noobs run amuck, say to or at such noobs in order to insinuate that they dont deserve to be there and need to be 'banned'(see the wordplay?)

"That noob is freckin annoying, Im in SERIOUS need of THE BANNER HAMMER(ban hammer) right now..."
