a guy/girl who does no prep work or heavy lifting prior to a relationship--he/she just slides in during a crisis and steals the vulnerable prize.
When Sarah's cat was hit by a car, she decided that we should take a break, it was during this period that her veterinarian slid in and became the bungler to our relationship.
