comes from the longer: "classic smidge of red health". this term originated from the popular mid 90s RTS command and conquer, where it was common to have a vehicle or infanty unit with only one pixel width of health left, essentially rendering it useless.

can be used as adjective or noun

gamer1: "dood i can't believe you beat me that round.. i had you down the the classic smidge"

gamer2: "yea, comeback of the century"
