The Goal is hockey legend and defenseman Bobby Orr's over time, Stanly Cup winning goal, on March 10, 1970. Through this game winning goal the Boston Bruins defeated the St.Louis Blues and won their first Stanly Cup in 29 years. This goal also produced, arguably, the most famous and recognizable sports image of all time. The picture features Bobby flying through the air (having been tripped as he scored the goal) in the 'superman' position, arms outstretched in celebration.
"Wow, that was a sweet goal."
