The Matrix

What is The Matrix?

1.

Unfortunately, no one can be told what the matrix really is. You have to see it for yourself.

Morpheus: "Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix really is. You have to see it for yourself."

Neo: "Woah!"

2.

A groundbreaking film released in 1999. Facing hard competition from Star Wars: Episode I, which opened the same season, it was a surprise hit, and a perfect combination of story and action/visual effects. The original film was somewhat devalued by the sub-par sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. Recently, all three films were released in a 10-disc box set.

Warner Home Video has just announced that, in addition to the 10-disc "Ultimate Matrix Collection", they will soon be releasing a "SuperDeluxe Ultimate Matrix Collection, consisting of 128 DVDs, which dissect every frame of all three films. Each film has 32 commentary tracks, from writers/directors Wachowski Brothers to James Mager, the catering assistant for the films. In addition, each disc will be hand-signed by Keanu Reeves and the Wachowski Brothers. The set will also include a life-sized Sentinel figure.

The Matrix is real. In the movies, The Matrix was symbolized as a computer simulation that is hooked into our brains with wires and computer code. The real Matrix consists of the program that we follow every day when we live our lives. The real Matrix is created throuth the media, and through our programmed interactions with our jobs and with each other. To break free of the real Matrix, one must operate not on logic, but on will. Do what you will, because the only things that stand in your way are only in your way because you believe they are. Do, believe, and feel as you want to. NOT as you are told.

Neo broke free from the rules of the matrix.

Hit movie of 1999 about a computer hacker who learns that the world as he, and everyone else knows it is accually a computer simulation connecting all human minds together. Your accual body is in a closed in water bag cacoon type thing, being used for energy by machines. The hacker is pulled out of 'The Matrix' then goes back in for different purposes...all the time trying to reilize that it is not real and that he is destined to save all of the people hooked into it from the machines.

All you have to do is reilize that it's not real, it is in your imagination, your mind is capable of doing anything.

1. The computer-generated artificial reality in which everyone except Keanu Reeves and a handful of other actors reside, oblivious to the pain, suffering, and general crappiness of the real world.

2. A series of movies starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, and Carrie-Ann Moss that is practically the definition of awesomeness, so entirely, ultimately holy in its awesomeness is it.
