The Pat Edit Meaning

The act of checking both your front pockets with your hands without actaully going inside the pocket to make sure you have everything. Includes checking for your cell phone, wallet, keys, etc. (usually all of these). If you don't feel the items you are looking for you may move onto checking your other pockets.
