What is The Smashing Pumpkins?

1.

A talented and ahead-of-their-time alt. rock band containing Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, and D'arcy Wretzky. A huge influence on modern music, as well as a true inspiration to anyone who would be interested in good music. The Smashing Pumpkins formed in 1988 and broke up in 2000. HOw we carry on without them is unknown...

Damn it! Turn off that stupid rap and put something good on, maybe The Smashing Pumpkins or some Red Hot Chili Peppers.

2.

- kick ass band

"i wish they never broke up"

See h-town

3.

Billy Corgan (vocals)

James Iha (guitar)

Jimmy Chamerlain (Drums)

D'arcy Gretzky (Bass)

These four people made some of the best music of the Alternative Rock movement of the 90s. Hits included Disarm, Tonight, 1979, and Bullets with Butterfly Wings. There best albums are Mellan Chollie and the Infinite Sadness, Gish, and Siamese Dreams.

Better than any music of todays generation. Rap is Krap kiddies. 50 cent is really a pansy.

The smashing Pumpkins, gods of Alt Rock

4.

An amazing alternative rock band that recently got back together and is currently in the studio working on a new album!

After listening to "Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness," I had reached the conclusion that The Smashing Pumpkins are one of the best rock bands in history.

See smashing pumpkins, amazing, rock, alternative, Tavis

5.

One damn good band. The guy who said turn off rap and put on "Red Hot Chili Peppers", obviously knows nothing about rap or the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I take it you don't own any Chillies albums from before BSSM, and even that and Californication were HEAVILY influenced by rap music. To praise a rock band you don't have to insult rap, especially if that rock band would not exist without the influence of rap. Anyway, the Smashing Pumpkins are friggin' awesome, and they were on the Homerpalooza episode of The Simpsons.

D'arcy out of the Smashing Pumpkins is hot.

Shallow MTV plugged 'alternative' rock band, that were heavily indebted to The Cure, My Bloody Valentine and Judas Priest. As plastic as Britney Spears.

Obnoxious Thirtysomething: Hey, the Smashing Pumpkins were musical revolutionaries. Billy Corgan's a genius!

Bob: Y'mean revolutionary by the standards of Rod Stewart? Oh... um, you seem to have got overexcited, you might wanna change those trousers.

Obnoxious Thirtysomething: Wha..? And who's this My Bloody Valentine band? I've never heard them on MTV, therefore they probably don't exist.... oh, have you got a paper towel?
