Popular television gameshow origianally shown on the BBCand presented by Anne Robinson. Later shown in many other countries. It was made popular not by the contestants voting eachother off to land just one with the money, but also that instead of being cheery, the presenter kept a stern face and questioned the intelligence of the contestants.

When they were voted off one-by-one, she would say "You are the weakest link, Good-bye."

"A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and that seems to be you.."
