They Wash It

What is They Wash It?

1.

Something not difficult or troublesome. Said in the same tone like "no big deal" or "no biggie."

Originally derived from Lewis Black's joke about the candy corn company recycling its product from the dumpsters every year on Halloween. Just before the audience can express disgust, he assures them that "they wash it, they wash it." Now the term is used to comfort people in any situation of distress.

Girl: I'm really sorry I can't make it to our date tonight, its an emergency.

Guy: Its ok, they wash it.

Oops I spilled mustard on my favorite jeans! Ahh its ok they wash it, they wash it.

See no big deal, no biggie, whatever, candy corn, no worries
