Those people you interact with on a thread, recognized by usernames, but not usually known in person. Also, a general friendly way to address all on a thread.
"Some of the threadfriends are misbehaving on the other article."
"Hello Threadfriends!"
"I'm so glad you are my threadfriend!"
"Are any threadfriends invited?"
"Did you tell the threadfriends?"
