meaning tight. Orignates in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotlands chamber of slang. Some beleive the 'ict' instead of 'ight' is due to the lack of qualified teaching staff in most of Fife's schools. Others say its a reassurance that not all of us are air-headed toffees with more money than sense.
