The process of grabbing hold of a necktie at one of its lower points, then moving one's hands up it in a hand-over-hand manner, as though climbing a rope. This can be used to pull one's romantic partner closer, or simply used in a general spirit of flirtatiousness.

"Dude, take off your suit."

"No way, man; I keep the tie on, maybe I can get a tie climb tonight."
