A period of time during with an event is not seen but is mentioned or referred to. This have contantly on Soap operas espcially when they are trying to create the illusion of Movement.
On ALL MY CHILDREN, Kendall and Palmer are sitting in a restuarant and she is telling him who she will get Greenlee out of Cambias. THe show goes to commercial and when the scene comes back, she has told him and he is giving his comments. Thats a Time Jump.
