Tire-biter Edit Meaning

A chick who goes out with a guy ONLY for the benefit of his nice vehicle; usually a nice shiny jacked-up 4X4 truck with oversized tires, or even a hot sports car. Hence the name, "tire-biter."

Conversely, it CAN refer to a guy who goes with a girl solely for HER nice wheels.

That gal is a total tire-biter, she only wants him for his truck.

A tire-biter is the kind of person who is so focused and tenacious that when they want to achieve something they go after it with such determination they actually succeed; lots of dogs chase cars, but only the successful ones actually get a piece of the tire.

My daughter was a tire-biter when it came to competitive sports; she was determined to score at least once in every lacrosse game she played.

She was such a tire-biter in lacrosse that she averaged two goals per game.
