Tl/smi Edit Meaning

tl/smi has its origins on the Sherdog message board. It is an insult for a long or irrelevant post and it translates literally to Too Long Spending Money Instead. It is not only a phrase but a way of life. The members of this group spend money endlessly; saving none. The mentality is said to have risen from an encounter with a high roller at a Las Vegas airport. Those stories cannot be confirmed. Members are also know to post large money stacks with each post that says tl/smi.
