What is Tom Whalen?

Albany, NY Bar Term. Having too much to drink {alcoholic beverages}. When you know that you need to stop drinking and no one seems to stop you. That last drink may kill you, like it did Mayor Thomas Whalen of Albany NY in the horrific DWI accident in March 2002, while driving home from a bar and ended up dead in a ditch. Way too much alcohol ingested.
