Toni Braxton born in and once of Severn, Maryland unto parents Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Evelyn Braxton on October 7, 1968 with record sales of over 40 million units sold worldwide is a true world wonder and entertainer of world class.

Some musical sources have Toni Braxton's birthyear as 1967 and date of birth as October 7th or 8th.

Toni Braxton born Toni Michelle Braxton is the eldest of six children of whom formed the musical group, The Braxtons including with four of her siblings Tamar, Towanda, Traci, and Trina Braxton.

As well, some music sources have Toni Braxton the eldest of five siblings.

The Braxtons' first single on Atlantic Recordsin 1990 entitled, "The Good Life," lead Toni to her next step in her music career.

Legend has it that Toni Braxton was discovered while pumping gas at a gas station while singing to herself under the "management" of Bill Pettaway whom latter led Toni and her sisters to LaFace Records around 1991.

Under the lead of Antonio L.A. Reid and Kenny Babyface Edmonds of the R&B group The Deele -- (pronounced The Deal) formed the record label LaFace Records making Toni Braxton the first lady to sign with the label in 1990/1991.

As fate would lead Toni Braxton, while recording demos for the movie soundtrack for Eddie Murphy's 1992 release of Boomerangco-starring Halley Barry, Robin Givens, Eartha Kittand Grace Jones (a once transplanted resident of) Syracuse, New York after leaving her birthplace of The Country of Jamaica -- amongst a cast of many African American/Black movie-stars and multi race actors/actress; a pregnant Anita Bakersuggested LaFace Records to use the young lady Toni Braxton on the demos for the movie, Boomerang, instead of Anita Baker's self.

The nine time Grammy Award nominee and six time Grammy Awardwinner, Toni Braxton, had her first two "unofficial" hits from the original album soundtrack Boomerang entitled, "Give U My Heart," and "Love Shoulda Brought You Home" in 1992.

1. "How Could An Angel Break My Heart," was included on the "Diana Princess of Whales tribute dual CD set," released December 2, 1997 by Columbia Records with Kenny G.'s saxophone solo work whom Toni Braxton toured with.

2. The song "Your Making Me High," debuted #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 single chart while its album -- "Secrets" debuted at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Album Chart.

3. The single "Un-Break My Heart," by Diane Warren spent 11 weeks at number one on The Hot 100 Chart.

On April 21, 2001 -- Toni Braxton married Keri Lewis, former keyboardist, from the R&B music group Mint Condition. Mr. Keri Lewis and Mrs. Toni Michelle Braxton-Lewis are the proud parents of two boys the first born in 2001 and the second born in 2003.

In addition, Toni Braxton appeared on Broadway in Disney's production of "Beauty and the Beast," as "Belle' in 1998 and "Aida" (as Aida) in 2003.
