A catch-all term used to describe undesirables in the South Wales area. This is due to a large proportion of said undesirables hailing from places beginning with the prefix 'Ton', e.g., Tonypandy, Tongwynlais etc.
Features of the tonna include diamond stud earrings, fake tans, bleached hair, a love of cheap cider and trance music.
