What is Towndie?

A certain social group consisting of both boys and girls, who choose to listen to Indie style music but dress more like a townie with a few exceptions eg. jackets, shirts and they normaly sport an Indie haircut

Indie: Yeah but why do you care?

Towndie: Just cos I dress like this doesn't mean I don't like good music!
