Trimatic

What is Trimatic?

1.

A three speed automatic transmission made for various Holdenvehicles from 1970 through to 1988 such as the Torana, Kingswoodand Camira. It was replaced by various GM units. Often endeared "Trimagic" for its fluid, smooth shifts, or "Traumatic" for its dire reliability record, the copious amount of power it robbed from the engine, and the overwhelming amount of oil it left on your driveway. Operation is by a column shift or floor shift.

"yeah he's got a 253 V8, shame about the trimatic though"
