Teleprompter Reader of the United States.

This is a bastardization of POTUS (President of the United States).

This term is currently only applied to President Barack Obama because of his apparent inability to speak extemporaneously without a teleprompter.

Attempts to do so result in an average verbalized pause ("umm") count of 20-23 per minute. (Count them whenever you see the President's teleprompter break).

Dude, I saw TROTUS on the tube last night. His teleprompter broke and he ended up giving the exact same speech twice.
