What is Trunk Slamming?

To slam a trunk shut in an inappropriately firm fashion in order to demonstrate one's disgust surrounding their poor performance on the golf course that particular day. Trunk slamming most often occurs when (A) a player has missed a cut and is rushing to catch a flight home, or (B) When he/she played well below their potential and are in a hurry to get to the bar.
Mark was yelling fore-left all afternoon and lipped a 3-footer for triple on 18, so now he's out in the parking lot trunk slamming the afternoon away until happy hour starts at the airport.
